The Agency recommendation of positioning the property as the most exclusive beachfront property in the Gulf was readily accepted. This dovetailed into a selling strategy which called for an auction meant for only
a select number of investors and high net-worth individuals from across the GCC.
These potential prospects were invited to a launch function where they could bid for the two of the most exclusive plots in the complex. The function was held in the month of May, 2007 at Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa, near Muscat.
Needless to say, the strategy worked. 50% of all the available plots were sold within two days of the launch event and the rest are being offered on a first come first served basis.
